Germany is constructing the 288MW Baltic offshore wind farm two in the Kriegers Flak area approximately 32km north of the island of Rügen as part of the project. The EU-funded CGS is a planned 400-MW offshore interconnection between Germany and Denmark through the grid connections to the Baltic 1 2 offshore wind farms in German waters and Denmarks Kriegers Flak.
